Florida Encounter is an appointment tradeshow, providing a simple one-stop-shop solution for meeting professionals to meet individually with over 115 of Florida's premier suppliers. You request the appointments, so you choose who you want to meet with.
Florida Encounter gives you the opportunity to make contacts and explore Florida’s unsurpassed services and venues in a relaxed atmosphere. You'll save time and money when planning your next meeting in Florida.
The registration fee for qualified meeting professionals to attend is only $195 and includes airfare, accommodations, meal functions, one-on-one appointments, exciting evening events and the offered optional post-Encounter FAM trips.

Changes for this year
In our never-ending quest to plan the perfect networking and relationship building program for you, we have made the following changes, based on the feedback provided by you and the attending suppliers after last year’s Encounter.
Shorter Program
We have done away with the Saturday reception and the Sunday morning activities. The program will start on Sunday afternoon and will run through Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon departure is now optional, but we highly recommend you stay around for the Tuesday Late Departure Reception in downtown Dunedin!
Post-Encounter FAM Trips
Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough! VISIT FLORIDA together with selected areas in Florida will offer optional Post-Encounter FAM Trips to three meeting destinations.
More Networking Opportunities
Instead of educational speakers during the F&B functions, we will offer additional networking opportunities. And you will be able to select the destination(s) you want to get to know by simply choosing a table.
